myAvcast Overview
Avcast© enables the distribution of broadband video, audio and infrared control signals over existing coax cables in the home. Avcast is unique because of its ability to distribute all of these signals bidirectionally and simultaneously on your existing coax cable to any TV that can tune the channel being utilized. With the Avcast Media Kit you can:
- view and control your Personal Video Recorder (Tivo, Replay TV, PVR/DVR), DVD player, VCR, or any other video entertainment source from any TV in your home
- view a captured TV program on your PC's hard drive from any TV in your home
- monitor a video camera used for security or babysitting purposes from any TV
