This is the simpler configuration for adding a PC to the Avcast network. The CableCaster replaces the splitter where Cable TV or antenna signals enter the home. A notch filter eliminates unwanted signals from the antenna or Cable TV service (you specify filter range). The PC in Room 1 is added to the Avcast network with a MediaCaster. The MediaCaster will accept the Audio output from your sound card and the Video output from your Video Out (TV Out). Note: before you attach the MediaCaster, make sure you can view your PC screen on a TV via the Video Out connector. This may require adjusting some display settings in the Control Panel to enable the Video Out connector. You may also need an S-Video to RCA converter

Once attached to the PC, the MediaCaster is set to a "Personal TV Channel", say channel 78. Any TV tuned to channel 78 will be able to view what is being played on the PC.
